This Friday afternoon it will be held in Torun (Poland) the afternoon session of the first day of the Short Track World Athletics Championship with the celebration of three finales: the launch of weight in women’s category, the contest of triple jump in the men’s category and the 60 meters flat in men’s category.

The day starts with fight for medals in the women’s shot putfollowed by the contest heptathlon high jump to play next the first rounds 1,500 meter heats in both categories where there will be a Spanish presence with the athletes Mariano García and Carlos Sáez.

It will be an afternoon where the 400 meter dash semi-finals, and the semi-finals and final of the 60 meter dash men’s championships where we will meet the king of speed of these championships.

The day will, therefore, double session in the double return to the stadium for the Cuatrocentistas after the eliminatory round played this morning in a test where places to compete in the final are very expensive due to the high quality of all the participants. In the morning, Blanca Hervás, Paula Sevilla, Markel Fernández and David García have made the first cut.

Double session also for the 60 meter hurdles sprinters who pass the semi-final of the championships’ queen speed event, with two races in just over an hour to determine the final classification. Guillem Crespí advanced to the semi-finals this morning.
