Just a few hours after losing the Champions League final against Paris Saint Germain, it was time to change the disappointment and bitterness to celebrate the Premier League. In a massive parade through the streets of London, perhaps the largest in the history of English football, Arsenal fans put aside the memory of the Budapest penalties and glorified the first league victory in 22 years.

North London, in the streets surrounding the Emirates Stadium, became a red tide rarely seen in the London capital and throughout the country. The authorities estimated that close to a million people would gather for this parade and neither the hangover from the Champions League nor the defeat against the French ruined attendance.
