Martin Odegaard, Norwegian midfielder Arsenal, took advantage in the press conference prior to the Champions League final to analyze his rival, the PSGalong with his teammate Bukayo Saka.
Captain: “The feeling is incredible. This day will forever be remembered and it is very beautiful.”
First Champions: “It’s something very special. It really is an incredible achievement because it was 22 years of waiting and now that we have done it we want to go further. It would be very important for us and for the fans who are waiting for us impatiently.”
First captain to win the Champions League?: “Patrick Vieira is a leader who has marked the history of the club and receiving a message from him has been very special. We look forward to tomorrow’s game.”
Win the Premier League: “I don’t feel like someone different but we have done something incredible. That pressure is no longer there because those voices that said we were not capable were silenced. The mentality remains the same, it is to win tomorrow, we have to reap the positive energy and this has prepared us to reach this last stretch of the season and we are looking forward to this final.”
Qualities that can make a difference: “We are perfectly aware of our qualities, we have demonstrated them. We have won the Premier, the toughest championship in the entire world. We believe a lot in our abilities, in the football we play, we concentrate on what we can control, we have a lot of faith in our team.”
Technical staff: “I think sometimes you don’t see enough of these members who work behind the scenes. Everyone matters and we are like a family. We are very grateful.”
Past injury: “It hasn’t been easy. There were many moments of frustration but that’s how it is, you have to adapt, help the team even if you’re off the field. This group and Bukayo have assumed many responsibilities. We try to help each other and that is the key to success.”
Getting to penalties: “We analyzed the different players in the penalty shootout. Tomorrow is a possibility and we have prepared every aspect of the opponent. We have analyzed PSG in every possible way.”
After the Norwegian’s turn, the English winger spoke Bukayo Saka about the difficulty of this final and the work that the team has done set gunnerduring the season to be able to fight the Premier and Champions League double.
Pressure: “I try not to think too much about this pressure, this is the way I use to work, focus on the present moment and then God decides what is going to happen.”
Climbing the ranks in the club: “If you know my career, you will know that I started when I was seven years old. I didn’t even think about a Champions League or a Premier League but all this became a reality. Tomorrow I will be on the field. I have tremendous impatience and I want to write the history of the club that I love.”
Offer the title to fans: “I know what it means, it’s my career, I love this club. We felt how important it was for the fans. I think the parade would be the first time you could see a gathering of Arsenal fans. We have to focus attention on this immense opportunity.”

Title celebration: “We hope to win the Champions League tomorrow and be able to celebrate around the stadium.”
Arteta’s beginnings: “I think we were very far away and the level was not that high but Mikel has been very clear, he wanted to have very big goals and win titles.
