Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was with MARCA at Arsenal’s ‘Media Day’ organized before Saturday’s final against PSG.

Premier title. “We are very happy and proud of the title. “The celebration was very nice after so many years without achieving this title.”

After three consecutive runners-up. “In the end we achieved it and it was a goal that had been attempted for many years and I believe that this club must fight for these titles. This is going to give us a lot of energy to be able to face the Champions League final.”

Three golden gloves. “I’m in a very good stage both personally and professionally. My clean sheets are due to the entire team. It’s an incredible record and not many Premier League goalkeepers have achieved it.”

Starter in the World Cup. “I try to do my job at Arsenal and thus make things difficult for Luis de la Fuente.”

Defensive team. “I don’t know if it’s fair or unfair for them to classify us like that, but we know that defending and keeping a clean sheet is going to help us win the games. I also think that we are an offensive and attacking team that likes to play with the ball and touch the ball. We have our weapons to play our football and score goals in very different ways.”

19 clean sheets. “That fact tells me that defensively we are very strong and we don’t concede much. There have been games in which they haven’t given us a single chance.”

PSG training. “I haven’t seen his training (they are especially rehearsing how to defend Arsenal’s corners) but each one tries what he thinks is appropriate. “We know that we are strong on set pieces and I hope we can score a goal like that in the final.”

Mikel Arteta “The coach’s work has been incredible. He took over the club at a time when it was not the best and has revitalized it, taking it to the top with this Premier League. That speaks of the person he is, Mikel never gives up and it is a message that he has always transmitted to us.”

Luis Enrique. “I know him very closely from the National Team and he was the one who gave me my debut in La Roja. I have a lot of appreciation for him, he is a great coach and a good person. He always adjusts things to make things difficult for the rival. Let’s hope to win the battle this time.”
