Arsenal confirmed this Friday that 16-year-old pearl Max Dowman has signed a pre-contract with the club which will allow him to sign his first professional contract when he meets 17 years in December.

Dowman At 15 years and 234 days he became the second youngest footballer to play for Arsenalwhen he debuted against Leeds United in August.

Regular since last season in first team training, Dowman has played five games this season with the ‘Gunners’, but is currently out due to an ankle problem.

In the quarry, He has scored 27 goals and distributed ten assists in the 34 games who has played between the U18 and U21 teams.

“This means everything to me and my family. We are all Arsenal fans and I feel like I belong here. I want to thank the coaches, my teammates and, most importantly, my family and friends, who have brought me to where I am today.“Dowman said.

“I’ve been at this club my whole life, so this means a lot. There is a very clear path here, with players who have come out of the youth system, like Bukayo (Saka), Myles (Lewis-Skelly) and Ethan (Nwaneri)which have inspired me. “It’s incredible to have examples like that who have gone through the same thing as me.”
