Jorginhoan Italy international midfielder who played for Naples, Arsenal and Chelsea, has released a statement to clarify his misunderstanding with the famous singer Chappell Roan and his bodyguards.
The footballer harshly criticized Chappell Roan last monthclaiming that his bodyguard spoke to him “extremely aggressively” to his wife and 11-year-old daughter after the girl allegedly walked past the singer’s table at the hotel where they were staying.
He stated that The incident made her daughter cry and she asked the pop star’s fans to boycott her..
“I’m sorry for the impact this situation has had on Chappell Roan, Catherine, Ada and our family,” Jorginho posted on Instagram.
Jorginho stated that, while he made his initial statement “in a moment of anger”responded to the alleged incident “like any father would do”.
Chappell Roan apologized to Jorginho’s wife, model Catherine Harding
The footballer noted that Chappell Roan had contacted his wife (model Catherine Harding) privately and stated that it was evident that the singer “had no knowledge” of what happened.”
The bodyguard corroborated her version of events, stating that he took “full responsibility” for his behavior and that he was not even there with Chappell, it was reported, and that he was working for Sabrina Carpenter at the time.
