The facts They occurred in the visiting stands of the Emirates Stadium<\/strong>in the Everton fan area. In the video you can see how one of Thierno Barry’s friends receives a punch, while trying to hold the other and they are surrounded by several people. At the moment the police are investigating what happened, as the player has highlighted on his social network.<\/p>\n

Once the facts were revealed, social networks were filled with comments surrounding this matter. Something that Thierno referred to the day after the game with another message. “The people who were there to support me have always followed the clubs I have played for throughout my career,” the player wrote. “They were rebuked by a group of fans <\/strong>what they mistakenly believed they were celebrating Arsenal’s goal<\/strong>“, he says about the beginning of the conflict.<\/p>\n

Some of the information that circulates does not correspond to reality. Contrary to what has been suggested, I never gave away tickets to Arsenal fans. The people who were there to support me have always followed the clubs I have played for throughout my career, from Beveren to Basel, through Villarreal and now Everton. Yesterday, some even wore an Everton shirt with my name on it.<\/em><\/p>\n

During the game, some fans approached them twice to ask if they supported the opposing team. They responded clearly that this was not the case and that they were there to support me.<\/em><\/p>\n

Also, the people who appear in some videos are not members of my family. They are relatives of another player on the team. Unfortunately, they were taunted by a group of fans who mistakenly believed they were celebrating Arsenal’s goal. The guards present witnessed the scene. My friends were insulted, how is this possible?<\/em><\/p>\n

I simply want to remind everyone that violence has no place in football, regardless of the circumstances.<\/em><\/p>\n
