More problems for Thomas<\/b> Partey<\/b>. Once it was known last July that the now Villarreal player had been accused of five counts of rape<\/b> y one count of sexual assault<\/b> by the British authorities, the Crown Prosecution Service<\/b> British has also accused the Ghanaian footballer of 32 years<\/b> of two new rape charges<\/b>.<\/p>\n

These new facts, independent of the other six for which Thomas Partey is already being tried in the United Kingdom, \u201care related to a independent complaint<\/b> of non-recent crimes committed in 2020<\/b> that involve another woman and are the result of a new investigation by the Metropolitan Police<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Thomas Partey, who at the beginning of August 2025 appeared at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court<\/b>denying all the accusations against him and obtaining release on conditional bail, will have to appear again in said Court next Friday March 13<\/b> in relation to the new accusations. On that occasion, the Ghanaian pleaded not guilty for some alleged crimes, which had taken place between 2021<\/b> y 2022<\/b>related to three different women<\/b>. The footballer then denied having raped two of them and sexually assaulted a third.<\/p>\n

The new accusations, which were first reported in August 2025<\/b>expand a case that will be tried at the end of this year. In mid-September, after the third hearing held at the Southwark Crown Court<\/b> (Southwark Criminal Court), it was announced that the trial on five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault will take place on November 2, 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n

From his first appearance, the release on bail<\/b> that was granted to Thomas Partey last summer means that can’t get in touch<\/b> with any of the three alleged victims and must notify<\/b> to the Police<\/b> any permanent change of address or international travel<\/b>. Thomas Partey’s contract with the yellow submarine expires next June 30<\/b>.<\/p>\n
