At least 131 people have been arrested, of which 45 were detained at the police station<\/strong>y a police officer has been injured<\/strong> in Paris for the launching of fireworks during the celebrations of PSG’s second Champions League, the authorities reported in a still provisional balance.<\/p>\n

In its last bulletin at 11 p.m. local time (21 GMT), the Police Prefecture stated that 20.000<\/strong> the fans who gathered on the Champs Elysees in Paris to follow the final between PSG and Arsenal.<\/p>\n

last year<\/strong>When PSG won its first Champions League, there were serious riots in various parts of France: two people died and almost 200 were injured, including a police officer who is in a coma. In Paris alone there were 500 arrests.<\/p>\n

To avoid episodes like those of 2025, the French authorities have launched a reinforced security device<\/strong>. 22,000 police and gendarmes have been deployed throughout the country, of which 8,000 were in Paris and its metropolitan area.<\/p>\n

This year, the unrest has again focused on the Champs Elys\u00e9es and surrounding areas<\/strong>but there were also near the Parc des Princes and the Place de la R\u00e9publique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
