The ex-footballers Gary Neville<\/strong>, Roy Keane<\/strong> y Micah Richards<\/strong> They had a heated television debate on ‘Sky Sports’<\/strong> after theArsenal defeat 2-1 against Manchester City<\/strong>in a match that could be crucial for the outcome of the Premier League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The three Premier League legends focused their debate on whether the improvement in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal game could be a good sign for the five games they have left.<\/p>\n

Arsenal, which has 22 years without winning the Premier<\/strong>has come to be 9 points ahead of City this season and is currently only 3 ahead of the ‘citizens’ with a new game.<\/p>\n

Are you surprised that Arsenal came and played well? Do you want the praise or the points? What do you care?<\/p>\n

Roy Keane<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Roy Keane said that at this point in the season performance is irrelevant, and the only important thing is points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Micah Richards<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Keane was forceful when answering Micah Richards when the former Manchester City player reflected on whether Arsenal could take something positive from the defeat: “No. They are Arsenal Football Club, they are not a small club.”<\/p>\n

Arsenal are leaders of the league. They are a good team, they are not just anyone.<\/p>\n

Roy Keane<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“We thought that Arsenal would retreat. They haven’t been playing well, but they have achieved victory in some games. Today they showed that they are a better team when they press,” Richards tried to justify.<\/p>\n

Keane ironically countered him: “Are you surprised that Arsenal came and played well? Do you want the praise or the points? What do you care?”<\/p>\n

Roy Keane, intransigent in Arsenal’s defeat, remained firm: “Yes, of course. They are leaders of the league. They are a good team, they are not just any team.”<\/p>\n

Neville’s condescending comment about Arteta and Arsenal that outraged Roy Keane<\/h2>\n

Then Gary Neville came in: “Mikel Arteta will say: ‘I’m proud of you, play at this level for the rest of the season…'”.<\/p>\n

Wow! Am I proud of you? Gary, man, what’s in that drink? Am I really proud of you?<\/p>\n

Roy Keane<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The former Manchester United man’s note was too much for Roy Keane: “Wow! Am I proud of you? Gary, man, what’s in that drink (pointing to the glass)? Am I really proud of you?”<\/p>\n

I think Arteta will say that he is proud of how you played and that if you play at that level for the rest of the season, we will win games<\/p>\n

Gary Neville<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“I think he will say that he is proud of how you played and that if you play at that level for the rest of the season, we will win games,” Neville insisted on Arteta’s possible speech.<\/p>\n
